Air Show

Lots of variety during the air show as well. Impressive fighter demo’s including the MiG-29, EF-2000, but also the Breitling Wingwalkers with their Boeing Stearman. A first was the Croatian PC-9 demo team “Krila Oluje”.

Next Gen

Big part of the show was covered with this years Next Gen theme. The F-22 show unfortunately felt short due to a technical problem. The USAF F-35A from 61st squadron flew an impressive heritage formation with the P-51.

Airbus brought there ever impressive A400M factory demo. The Greek F-16C “Zeus” is one of the best looking demo’s around. The German Bo-105 gave it’s last show ever, with the aircraft retiring with the German Army.

With there first F-35B on home turf, the RAF presented the capabilities to the public for the first time. The STOVL capabilities of the B model made a very stable impressive, compared the to Harrier for instance.

The show continued with the Red Arrows, the awesome Chinook demo, a Swedish Grippen and Italian Typhoon and was concluded by the Frecce Tricolori.

Traditionally most of the participant’s head home on Monday after the show. Like every year this event can be witnessed with special tickets and two sides of the runway.
