Airshow Part 2
After the airpower demo the airshow continued with the RNLAF Apache demo. This year the AH-64 is applied with an orange “paint” scheme and an Apache Indian in the tail.
A first this year was the demo by a Finish NH-90. Not the most obvious choice, because the RNLAF also has some operational NH-90s. But off course, for us enthusiasts, a Finnish airframe is way more interesting.
Back in the days the RNLAF had its own helicopter demo team called the Grasshoppers. They were flying the SA316 Alouette III. The Spanish Air Force has taken over now with its helicopter demo team La Patrulla ASPA, flying the Eurocopter 120 Colibri.
