Departure day

Photo's by Frits Jongerman

To make even more money, RIAT also sells tickets for Monday, known as departure day. But it's money well spend, because most of the participating aircraft (parked on the static) return to there home bases on that day. Aircraft can be photographed on takeoff and thus popular with the aircraft enthusiasts. No blue-white cones in front of the aircraft is a blessing. Aviamagazine's Frits Jongerman was present on departure day and made the following impression.
