Traditionally most of the Royal International Air Tattoo participant’s head home on Monday after the show. Like every year this event can be witnessed with special tickets from two sides of the runway.
Pages in this article:123 Like previous editions we headed for the end of runway 09. This side ensures most of the action although some planes missed the “keep it low” instructions during the morning briefing.
The weather wasn’t helping this year as most of the day was cloud covered. Still lots of good opportunities with the B-52 takeoff being the highlight of the day. Great that the organization extended the opening time of the viewing area a bit as the B-52 departed late.
