When you are into warbirds, pistol driven aircraft, the annual Flying Legends airshow in Duxford, UK is the place to be. With over 50 fly worthy aircraft from the World War 2 era attending, including 15 Spitfires, it makes it a unique air show.
During the show, the Imperial War Museum Duxford, located on the airfield is also open to the public adding on to the special atmosphere of the show. Photo’s from the museum are not included in this report.

A special treat this year was the visit of a F-35A during the US heritage flight. As the Lightning was also performing at nearby Royal International Air Tattoo, it was a welcome addition amongst the piston powered aircraft.
