19 June, Aviamagazine attended the Salon International de l’aeronautique at Paris Le Bourget, better known as the Paris Air Show. The 52nd edition of this bi-annual trade show featured a lot of debuting aircraft, like the Embraer ERJ-195-E2, Mitsubishi MRJ-90, Airbus A350-1000, and Boeing 787-10 to name a few.
Unlike previous editions we visited a trade day, which resulted in a better coverage of participants, as everybody was still present (unlike on public show days.) Besides the excellent weather, lots of aircraft making their debut at the Paris Air Show. 15 first appearances include: A321 Neo, A350-1000, An-132D, B737-9, B787-10, Cirrus SF-50, Diamond DART 450, ERJ-195-E2, KC-390, P-1, LM-100J, M-345, F-35A, MRJ90 and the Turkish trainer Hurkus.
Airbus presented the upgrade program for the A380, called the A380 Plus. Most obvious are the added winglets, which reduce fuel costs by 4%.
Sunday afternoon, a day before the show opened, we stayed in a field at Chemin de Bonneuil as runway 07 was in use. The last participants from Airbus arrived and also a factory fresh CS300 for Baltic. Besides that, of course a lot of bizjets movements were noted as well.

The Honeywell 757 was parked on the apron away from the show grounds.
Photo opportunities on the airshow are somewhat limited as the chalets block a view on the runway and the public grounds are not open on trade days.
In all a great edition with lots of new and interesting aircraft on display.
