Paris Air Show 2013

Gostar den Daas | June 2013
Bi-annual tradeshow at Le Bourget, France

Highlight of the bi-annual Paris tradeshow , or Paris Air Show held at the airport of Le Bourget, was for sure the first public appearance and third flight ever of the new Airbus A350. Together with the Boeing 787 and Airbus A380 it represents the future of commercial flight.

Aviamagazine visited the show on June 21, which was an additional public day. Because the trade show was still in progress, most visiting aircraft were still present, instead of the weekend, when some already left.

The A350 XWB (Extra Wide Body) made it’s 3th flight from Toulouse and did one flyby before proceeding the test flight. Boeing demonstrated the 787 in full Air India colors. Russia flew the impressive Kamov 52 attack helicopter and Ukraine was present with the An-70 transport which is comparable with the Airbus A400, of which two were present. One of them being the first French Air Force aircraft.
