During the coming months, we will implement lots of structural changes to the site. All content remains, but will be moved around to make the site easier and more transparent to navigate. One of the main changes is the removal of the specials section with all its content moved to other sections.

Changes will be done in phases, with this page informing you on current status and upcoming changes.

Our membership pages will be transformed into an account area. Membership will be removed from the main menu as all functionalities are already available through the header or entering membership only features.

Factsheets renamed: Reference

Our Factsheet section will be renamed Reference. Special section: Timelines and Out of service will be moved to this section. Also some minor name changes are expected. The section will contain the following sub-sections:

• Aircraft
• Airlines
• Military units (Order of battle)
• Aircraft timelines
• Retired aircraft (Out of service)

Reports renamed: Articles

Our Report section will be renamed Articles. The sub-section Special report, which was a bit confusing compared to the special section will be renamed Feature articles.

The article section will have the following sub-sections.

• Trip reports
• Air show reports
• Exercise reports
• Feature articles

New section: Resources

A new section Resources will be introduced combining some of the former special and about pages. Sub-sections:

• Desktop wallpapers
• Books
• Apps

Most likely we will move the developers section (now in About) to this section as well.

Gallery renamed: Photos

Our Gallery section will be renamed Photos. It will contain the current features, and potentially we’ll add some new.
