Day 4: Paris Charles de Gaulle, France

Our last stop, one of Europe's busiest airports, Paris Charles de Gaulle. Because CDG is an immense airport, with several terminals, there are plenty of spots to watch the movements. Because of the size plan the area you want to stop. Stops near the runways can only be reached by car, stops near the taxiways of platforms are easier to reach. Preferred place to start your day at CDG is the RER railway and bus station (not the TGV station!). When you arrive by plane, you can travel between the terminals using a schuttlebus service. One of the best stops is next to the taxiway in the centre of the airfield. This stop can be reached by foot from the RER station (a 5 min. walk). Check the related link scramble (spot 2) on this page, for the exact directions. Photo opportunities are great, aircraft pass really close. Unfortunately the sun can play tricks, especially in the afternoon.
