Naval Air Station De Kooij, in the northern part of Holland, is home base of the Dutch Navy SH-14D Lynx helicopter. This helicopter will be replaced by the NH-90 helicopter in the very near future. There have been some delays so we will see the Lynx helicopters for some years.

Saturday Augustus 4 the Katwijkse Reddings Brigade (Rescue Brigade) organised its annual meeting ‘SAR Katwijk’. During this International Search and Rescue Event, several organisations give demonstrations.

8 July 2007Evreux AB, France

On July the 8th 2007, the French air force hosted it's annual airshow, meeting Arién, at the transport base Evreux, west of Paris.

17 June 2007Geilenkirchen AB, Germany

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the E-3A component, the NATO organized a open house at there Main Operating Base (MOB) located at Geilenkirchen, Germany. We visited the base on Sunday 17th of June 2007 with beautiful weather and perfect photo cloud formations.

15/16 June 2007Volkel AB, Netherlands

The Annual Open Dagen (open days) of the Royal Netherlands Air Force was held on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th at Volkel AB in the south of the Netherlands. Highlights included a Hungarian Jas-39, the Turkish Stars demo team and a Polish delegation (Su-22 and An-26).

1 May 2007Aviadrome Lelystad, Netherlands

On Tuesday, May 1st, an ex Spanish Air Force CASA 352L was rolled out at Lelystad Airport, The Netherlands. The aircraft is painted in colours and markings of a Ju-52/3 mg which (crash-)landed at the beach near Den Haag during the first days of May 1940.

20 Apr 2007Volkel AB, Netherlands

Both the Royal Netherlands Air Force and the Spyker Formula One team tested there strength 20th of April at the Full Throttle event on Volkel AB, where a F-16 raced the Spyker F1 race car.
