Dutch F-16 Delivery to Chile Exclusive

AviaMagazine is proud to present the first picture of the former Dutch F-16s on Chile ground in Chile markings, during the delivery flight. And exclusively we were at Cerro Moreno AFB, Chile to welcome the F-16s at there new home.

The first 6 F-16's left Twenthe AFB for their new homeland Chili on the 4th of September.

First group in the morning:

The spare airframes returned to the Netherlands before arriving at Cerro Moreno AFB, Chile.

Arrival: Cerro Moreno AFB, Chile

The Dutch F-16’s arrived at Cerro Moreno AFB September the 7th. On arrival the Vipers were still wearing there RNLAF markings.

The handover

The official handover took place on the 8th with both Dutch and Chile officials present. The Chile president was also at the ceremony, arriving with a FACH 737. The Vipers now wear the Chile markings.
